The initial fee of $25 covers the test administration and the issuance of the FSC. If you fail the first attempt, you can retake the test from the same DOJ Certified Instructor without paying another fee after a 24-hour wait. The $25 fee is not refundable if you fail the test twice or if you choose not to take the test.
